Crispy Mashed Taro and Bean Curd Roll

Step 1
Peel and finely dice the onion and carrot

Soak the mushroom until soft, drain and cut into small dice

Chop the green onion

Peel and clean the taro, cut them into small pieces

Place the taro on the plate and steam it until soft

Use the fork to mash and let cool

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the onion, carrot and mushroom until fragrant

Add light soy sauce and white pepper to season. Let cool

Add the mushroom mixture, egg, corn starch and bread crumbs to the taro and mix together

Wipe the bean sheet with a wet paper towel. Cut the sheet into 4 pieces

Spread the taro mixture evenly on the sheets and roll it up

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Pan fry the roll until crispy
