Crispy German Pork Knuckle with Honey Mustard Sauce

In a men gathering, there is nothing better than German Crispy Pork Hand with beer. In fact, it is not difficult to make the pork hand crispy; all you need to do is to swept some beer on it during the baking.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Wrap a baking tray with foil. In a pot, bring water to boil. Add bay leaves, white pepper and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 2
Add pork knuckle, white vinegar and cook for 45 minutes.Remove from the heat, close the lid and cook for 2 hours or until well flavoured.

Step 3
Pat dry with kitchen paper. Poke holes on the pork skin with a fork. Let it dry for 30 minutes.

Step 4
Place the pork knuckle into a zipper storage bag. Add the wheat beer just enough to cover the pork knuckle. Add black pepper, caraway seed and mix well. Marinate for 20 minutes and turn over once in the meantime.

Step 5
Place the pork knuckle on a grill.Bake for 50-55 minutes or until the skin is crispy. Brush with wheat beer every 15 minutes in the meantime.

Step 6
Prepare Honey Mustard Sauce. Mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, whole grain mustard and whipping cream.

Step 7
Serve the pork knuckle with Honey Mustard Sauce.
