A lot of Hong Kong restaurants serve vegetable and cream of mushroom as their daily soup. People already use to the white cream soup with only couple slice of mushrooms. Actually mushroom soup can full of ingredients and tasty. Add some white truffle for the flavor make the soup more rich.

Finely chop the onion

Mince the garlic

Slice the mushrooms

In a pot, melt the butter on a medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant

Add the slice mushrooms and cook until tender

Add the flour and mix well. Add the truffle paste and white wine

Step 7
Add the chicken broth and let it simmer for 30 minutes

Use the hand blender and blend the soup until smooth. Add the whipping cream and stir well

Bring it back to boil, season with salt and black pepper
