Step 1
Peel and slice the potato

Spray the casserole with some cooking spray, set aside

Heat up a pot over medium heat, melt the butter

Add the flour to make a roux. Add the milk and whisk until no lumps

Add the heavy cream

Bring it to simmer until the sauce is starting to thicken. Remove from the heat

Lay the potato in the bottom of the casserole, sprinkle with salt, black pepper and some cheese

Repeat the step

Pour the mixture in the casserole

Place in the oven and bake it for 30-40 minutes until golden brown
