Clay pot Rice with Lap Chang and Cured Duck Leg

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse the rice and place in the clay pot, add water and let sit for 10 minutes

Step 2
In a pot, blanch the sausages and duck leg about 2 minutes to get rid of the grease

Step 3
Cut the duck leg into pieces and slice the sausages

Step 4
Place the clay pot on a medium heat, about half way cook at 10 minutes time, add the sausages and the duck leg

Step 5
Place the choi sum around the pot

Step 6
Cover and cook for another 10-15 minutes on a medium low heat

Step 7
In a small pot, combine the sweet soy sauce ingredients and bring it to simmer on medium heat until sugar is dissolved

Step 8
When the rice is ready add the sweet soy sauce on the rice and serve hot
