Cookies are crispy and delicious but people think they are unhealthy as they have too much butter and sugar. These Christmas Oatmeal Cookies are made of high-fiber oat to make them healthier. With some Christmas decorations, this is a great dessert for Christmas.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Step 2
Prepare the cookie. Beat together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.

Step 3
Sieve in the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon and mix well.

Step 4
Add the oat and mix together.

Step 5
Divided into a 50g dough and shape into a ball. Press the dough and place on a baking tray and bake it for 13 minutes.

Step 6
Remove from the oven and let cool.

Step 7
Prepare the surface topping. Mix together the powder sugar and egg white. Slowly add the lemon juice and keep stir.

Step 8
Separate into 3 parts. Mix the red food coloring in one part and green food coloring in the other part.

Step 9
Add the white icing over the cookies and let set on the parchment paper. Decorating with the red and green icing. Ready to serve.
