Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven at 180C. Combine all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well.

Step 2
In a mixer, beat in the egg, oil then slowly add the milk.

Step 3
Then slowly add the dry ingredients mixture into the mixer, and mix together. When the batter is corporate then add the hot water.

Step 4
Transfer the batter to the measuring cup.

Step 5
Pour the batter into the cup cake liner about 2/3 full.

Step 6
Put in the oven and bake it for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

To make the buttercream, melt the butter.

Add powder sugar in the mixer.

Use the sieve to sieve the cocoa powder in the mixer as well.

Place the mixer in a low speed and mix well, then slowly add the milk and vanilla extract.

When all the ingredients in combine then turn the mixer in a medium speed until it combined.

Step 12
Transfer the buttercream frosting to the piping bag.

Step 13
Pipe it on the cup cake and decorate and serve.
