Step 1
Soak and rinse the raw coix seeds and Chinese yam. Cut the hairy gourds and carrot into pieces.

Step 2
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add lean pork, blanch for 5 minutes and drain.

Step 3
Bring hairy gourd, carrot, lean pork, raw coix seeds, Chinese yam and water to boil. Cover the lid, reduce to medium low heat and cook for 1 hour.

Step 4
Season with salt and ready to serve.
