Chinese Stuffed Zucchini

There are many great dishes during the Chinese New Year holiday. One of the signature dish is the stuffed “Hairy Gourd” with shrimp paste or dried scallops. Our version of this dish replaces the vegetable of choice with zucchini. For the stuffing, we used simple ground pork which goes perfectly well with the delightful chicken broth sauce.

Minced Pork

Wash and Cut Zucchinis

Cut into Equal Thickness

Remove the Seeded Center
