Chinese Steamed Almond Milk in Mini Pumpkin

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut the top of the pumpkin and remove the seeds

Step 2
Place on a steaming rack and steam it until the pumpkin is soften

Step 3
Combine the apricot kernels, rice and milk and place in the blender

Step 4
Bblend until smooth

Step 5
Drain the mixture through a cheese cloth or soup bag, reserve liquid for later use

Step 6
Place the liquid in the pot and bring it to boil. Lower the heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes

Step 7
Add the rock sugar and cook until dissolve

Step 8
Transfer the mixture back to the pumpkin. Sprinkle with almond for garnish and serve hot
