Chinese Chive with Pork Liver and Wolfberries Soup

Pork liver can enrich the blood and Chinese chives can enrich kidney, wolfberries good for eyesight and also moisturizing. Have a Chinese Chive with Pork Liver and Wolfberries Soup during winter season, it is not only nourish the stomach. Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Clean and cut the Chinese chive into section. Peel and slice the ginger.

Step 2
Clean and slice the pork liver, marinate with chopped leek, Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce and white pepper for 10 minutes.

Step 3
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the pork liver, drain and set aside.

Step 4
In a pot, add some oil and sauté the ginger until fragrant, add the pork liver and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the Chinese cooking wine.

Step 5
Add the chicken broth and wolfberries and bring it to boil, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. Add the Chinese chives and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 6
Season with salt and ready to serve.
