This time we demonstrate Chinese cabbage and Dried Cabbage with Pork Shank Soup which can clear your body heat, nourish your lung and good for your spleen and stomach. Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Clean and cut the pork shank in large pieces.

Step 2
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the pork shank for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 3
Rinse and soak the dried cabbage for 20 minutes. Peel and cut the carrot into pieces.

Step 4
Clean the Chinese cabbage and cut into forth.

Step 5
In a pot, add the pork shank, dried cabbage, carrot, sweet apricot, bitter apricot and honey dates. Add enough water to cover all the ingredients, bring it to boil and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 6
Cover the lid and reduce the heat to low then cook it for 1.5 hours, add the Chinese cabbage and cook for half an hour.

Step 7
Season with salt and ready to serve.
