Chicken Wing Stuffed with Glutinous Rice

Marinade
Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the dried shrimps and dried mushrooms until soft and finely dice. Soak the glutinous rice for at least 4 hours and mince the garlic.

Step 2
Debone the chicken wings and add marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour.

Step 3
Place glutinous rice on a steam plate brushed with oil. Layer dried shrimps, dried Chinese sausage and dried mushrooms on top. Steam for 25-30 minutes with Cuisinart Multi Functional Steam Oven.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add steamed glutinous rice and mix well. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, light brown sugar and mix well.

Step 5
Use the steam bake function of Cuisinart Multi Functional Steam Oven and preheat to 180C. Cover a baking tray with foil.

Step 6
Stuff the chicken wings with glutinous rice. Secure the chicken wings with toothpicks. Place on the baking tray.

Step 7
Steam bake for 20 minutes with Cuisinart Multi Functional Steam Oven.

Step 8
Remove from the oven and brush with honey. Bake for another 5 minutes and ready to serve.
