Chicken Tikka Masala

No need to go to Indian restaurants, you can still taste the classic Chicken Tikka Masala at home!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Prepare Marinated Chicken Skewer:Preheat the oven to 220°C. Place a parchment paper on a baking tray.

Step 2
Chop the onion, bell pepper, chicken thigh meat in pieces and set aside.

Step 3
Mix together the Garam Masala, turmeric powder, paprika, salt, sour cream, oil, minced garlic, minced ginger and lemon juice. Add the onion, bell pepper, chicken thigh meat and marinate for at least 4 hours.

Step 4
Skewer the chicken, onion, bell pepper and place on the baking tray. Brush with oil and bake for 25 minutes. Ready to serve.

Step 5
Prepare the Sauce:Place the cherry tomatoes in a blender, blend until smooth and set aside.

Step 6
In a pan, add some oil and sauté the onion until fragrant. Add the minced garlic, minced ginger and cook until golden brown.

Step 7
Reduce the heat to low, add the tomato puree, ground cumin, ground coriander, fenugreek powder, Garam Masala, sugar, turmeric powderand stir well.

Step 8
Add the chicken broth and cook until thicken. Add sour cream and cook for 3 minutes. Add some oil and transfer to a plate.

Step 9
Serve with the chicken skewers.
