Chicken Normandy

Step 1
Mince the shallot and garlic

Step 2
Remove the core of the apple and cut into dice

Mix together the flour and the steak seasoning

Dredge the chicken with the flour mixture

In a non-stick pan, add some oil on medium heat. Sear the chicken skin side down

Cook until both sides are golden brown. Transfer the plate and set aside

In the same pan, add some oil and sauté the garlic and shallot until fragrant. Add the calvados to deglaze

Add the cider and the dice apple

Step 9
Add the heavy cream and thyme, bring it to simmer

Reduce the heat to medium low, whisk into the butter

Return the chicken back to the sauce and cook for 3-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked

Transfer the chicken to the plate and add the sauce on top to serve
