Karaage is a Japanese cooking method in which means deep fried food. It is usually marinated with sauce. The chicken is juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Step 1
Clean and cut the chicken into cubes.

Step 2
Grate the ginger and mince the garlic.

Step 3
Marinate the chicken with ginger, garlic, sake, mirin, Japanese soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 4
Coat the chicken with the potato starch.

Step 5
In a pot, add enough oil for frying and deep fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked inside.

Step 6
Transfer to the kitchen paper to absorb the excess grease.Ready to serve.
