Braised Sparerib with Hairy Gourd

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Marinate the spareribs with Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, white pepper and corn starch for 15 minutes

Step 2
Scrap off the peel and cut the hairy gourd into medium sizes

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the ginger until fragrant

Step 4
Add the sparerib and pan-fry until golden brown

Step 5
Add Swanson Clear Chicken Broth 250mL

Step 6
Add the hairy gourd

Step 7
Reduce the heat to medium, cover the lid and cook until the spareribs is cooked and the hairy gourd is tender about 15 minutes

Step 8
Add the thicken sauce and cook until the sauce has thicken

Step 9
Sprinkle with green onion, quick stir and ready to serve
