Braised Pork Sparerib with Korean Pear

This braised pork sparerib goes exceptionally well with rice.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mince the garlic and flatten the shallots with a knife. Peel and cut the daikon into pieces. Cut the leek into sections and set aside. Soak the spareribs in water for 2 hours. Rinse and pat dry. Marinate with light soy sauce, rice wine, ginger, sesame oil, garlic and DayDayCook Roselle Pear Honey Tea for 2 hours.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add shallots and sauté until fragrant. Add spareribs and sauté until fragrant.

Step 3
Add the marinade, daikon, half of the leek and water. Bring it to boil on medium heat.

Step 4
Reduce to medium low heat and cook for 45 minutes.

Step 5
Add the remaining leek and mix well. Ready to serve.

Step 6
加入余下的大葱拌匀,即成。
