Braised Lion's Mane Mushroom and Tofu Pot

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak and remove the stems of the mushrooms. Cut the lion’s mane mushrooms into pieces. Cut the fried tofu into four. Peel and slice the carrot. Slice the red chili pepper. Soak the black fungus. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add lion’s mane mushrooms and blanch for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add ginger and sauté until fragrant.

Step 3
Add mushrooms, carrot, black fungus and sauté until fragrant.

Step 4
Add fried tofu, mushroom water, Yee Kee Vegetarian Oyster Sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and brown sugar. Mix well and bring to boil.

Step 5
Cover the lid. Cook on medium low heat for 5-10 minutes until lion’s mane mushrooms are soft.

Step 6
Add red chili pepper, sesame oil and mix well. Ready to serve.
