Braised Grouper and Tofu with Oyster Sauce

Slice the ginger

Step 4
Peel the garlic

Cut the grouper in medium size, seasoning with salt, pepper and Chinese cooking wine for 15 minutes

Cut the tofu into pieces about ½ inch

Dredge it with corn starch on the fish

Step 8
Pan sear the tofu until both sides golden brown, set aside

Slightly fry with oil for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Add the ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant

Add chicken broth, oyster sauce mix well

Step 11
Add the tofu back and cook until the fish is fully cooked and the sauce is reduce

Season with salt, sugar, white pepper land soy sauce

Step 13
Sprinkle with green onion and red chili pepper

Toss well and serve
