Braised Chicken with Taro in Coconut Sauce

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut the chicken in pieces and marinate with Swanson Concentrated Chicken Stock for 20 minutes

Step 2
Peel and slice the carrot

Step 3
Cut the taro into pieces

Step 4
In a pot, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the ginger and shallot until fragrant

Step 5
Add the chicken and sear until golden brown

Step 6
Add the taro pieces

Step 7
Add the Swanson Clear Chicken Broth 250mL and bring it to boil

Step 8
Reduce the heat to medium. Cover the lid and cook for 30 minutes until the taro is tender

Step 9
Add the coconut milk and carrot. Cook for another 5 minutes

Sprinkle with green onion
