Braised Chicken Feet in Abalone Sauce

This braised chicken feet in abalone sauce is very common and popular in Chinese restaurants. In fact, we can all do it at home as well! Try it out!

Step 1
Chop the garlic.

Step 2
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add chicken feet and blanch for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to ice water and let cool. Drain and set aside.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add ginger, star anise and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

Step 4
Add chicken feet and stir-fry until fragrant.

Step 5
Add oyster sauce, abalone sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rock sugar and 1000mL water. Bring to boil on medium high heat.

Step 6
Add peanuts and cover the lid. Reduce to medium low heat and cook for 1-1.5 hour. Ready to serve.
