Step 1
Cut the beef in medium size and season with salt and pepper

Dredge it with flour

In a skillet, add oil on a medium high heat, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Sear the beef short ribs until golden brown on all sides

Deglaze the skillet with red wine and beef broth

Step 5
Bring the liquid to boil, add cinnamon stick and bay leave

Step 6
Reduce the heat to medium, cover the lid and braised it for 2½ hours to 3 hours until the beef is soft

Step 7
Season with salt

Ready to serve
