Black Tea Shortbread

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Allow butter to sit at room temperature, add icing sugar, beat with an electric beater until white and fluffy

Step 2
Add a beaten egg

Step 3
Continue beating the mixture until smooth. Add the flour (sifted) and the grounded tea leaves. Mix well

Step 4
Form the cookie dough into a 10cm-length log

Step 5
Wrap with plastic wrap, place inside the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes

Step 6
Take the cookie dough out from the fridge, slice into 1cm-thick disc
