Beer Batter Seafood Platter
Recipe Details
Using beer to make the batter can make the deep-fried more chrunchy. This seafood platter have different variety and it is suitable to pair with beer.

Step 1
Clean and cut the squid into rings

Step 2
Clean and remove the shell of the shrimp, but leave the tails on

Step 3
Clean and pat dry the scallops

Step 4
For the beer batter. In a mixing bowl, combine all the batter ingredients beer, egg, all-purpose flour, lemon juice, garlic powder, baking soda, salt and pepper. Whisk until no lumps

Step 5
Combine the all-purpose flour, salt and pepper

Step 6
Dredge the seafood with the flour

Step 7
In a pot, heat up over high heat and add enough oil for frying. Deep the seafood in the batter and deep fry until golden brown

Transfer to the kitchen paper to soak up the excess oil
