Banana Chocolate Cream Pie

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mix digestive biscuit crumbs with melted butter

Step 2
Spread mixture onto a 9” pie tin evenly and refrigerate until harden

Melt chocolate with 3 tbsp heavy cream then spread onto cold crust

In a heavy pot, heat milk until hot but not boiling and remove from heat

In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, flour

then add one scoop of hot milk at a time and stir constantly until all milk is incorporated

Return milk mixture to the pan. Reheat with low heat and stir constantly

Cook for 3 minutes and remove from heat, add whiskey and let filling cool for about 20 minutes

Slice bananas and toss with lemon juice. Lay banana slices on the chocolate pie crust.

Pour filling over bananas, tap excess air bubbles and refrigerate until set for about 2 hours
