Baked Razor Clam with Creamy Cheese Sauce

Razor clam is a bivalve shellfish, can also save the shell after remove the flesh. It can use to contain the creamy cheese sauce and the rich sauce wrapped with the fatty razor clam after bake in oven.

Step 1
Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic

Step 2
In a pan, melt the butter with some oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant

Step 3
Add the flour to make it into a roux

Step 4
Add the milk and whipping cream. Stir until there is no lump and the sauce has thicken

Step 5
Add the cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper to taste

Step 6
Stir in the cheddar cheese until the cheese has completely melt

Step 7
Spread the cheese sauce over the razor clam

Step 8
Sprinkle with bread crumb and bake it for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
