Baked Molten Cheese Tart

Japanese molten cheese tart becomes a big hit recently. But you can only buy a limited quantity after queueing for one hour. How about make it by yourself? This recipe is using 3 common cheese you can find in supermarket. The cheese flavor is really rich.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
sprinkle flour on the table, press the dough with rolling stick into 0.5 PCT wood thickness

Step 2
cut the dough into circles with a Qu Qimo

Step 3
Place the dough on the tart shell, slightly press it and trim off the edge

Step 4
Use the toothpick to poke some hole to prevent the crust puff up and bake it for 8 minutes until it turn golden brown. Let cool

Step 5
In a pot, add the milk and bring it to simmer. Add all the cheese and whisk until it has thicken. Add the honey and vanilla to mix well.

Step 6
Pour the cheese filling in the tart about ¾ full.

Step 7
Reduce the heat in the oven to 150°C and bake it for 5 minutes.

Step 8
Remove from the oven and use a touch to slight brown the top. Let cool, remove from the tart shell and ready to serve.
