Bacalhau Potato Gratin with Minchi (2-3 portions)

Bacalhau Potato Gratin
Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Use butter to sauté the onion, add the minced beef and pork. Sauté until golden brown. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook it dry.

Step 2
Soak the Bacalhau with water overnight and change the water for 2-3 times.

Step 3
Poach it with water, milk, Bay leave and Black peppercorn. Dry it and make it into small pieces.

Step 4
Sauté the minced garlic, parsley, with olive oil. Add the Bacalhau and pepper.

Step 5
Mix the mashed potato with Bacalhau mixture. Check seasoning.

Step 6
Lay the minchi on the baking tray. Put the Bacalhau mixture on top.

Step 7
Shave the parmesan cheese on top.

Step 8
Bake for 10-12mins at 230°C oven until golden brown in colour.
