Angelica, Wolfberries and Carp Soup

Angelica gives a good effect on blood circulation. Wolfberries can anti-aging, regulating blood lipids. Cook it with the protein-rich carp, this soup is especially suitable for ladies to eat.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Clean the carp. Peel and slice the ginger. Rinse and chop the cilantro. Rinse the wolfberries.

Step 2
In a pot, add the angelica, Chinese cooking wine, 500mL water and bring it to boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover the lid and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Place the ginger into the carp.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil and sear the carp until golden brown on both sides.

Step 5
Add the angelica soup and enough water. Bring it to boil over high heat then reduce the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 6
Add the wolfberries and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 7
Season with salt, sprinkle with cilantro and ready to serve.
