Almond Thins Napoleon with Strawberry

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the custard. In a mixing bowl, combine the custard powder with 50mL milk and mix well

In a pot, combine the remaining milk and sugar. Bring it to simmer, add the custard mixture and whisk until it smooth and thicken

Step 3
Remove from the heat and let cool. Refrigerate for an hour

Step 4
Clean the strawberries, remove the stem and cut it into slice

Step 5
In a saucepan on a medium heat, combine the water, sugar and sliced strawberries. Bring it to simmer and let it cook until the sliced strawberries nice and coated. Transfer to the plate and set aside

Step 6
Transfer the custard to the piping bag

Step 7
Dot the custard on the plate and lay the Jules Destrooper Almond Thins to secure

Step 8
Pipe the custard over the Jules Destrooper Almond Thins, then layer the glazed strawberries

Repeat the step, decorate with custard and mint leaves
