Adzuki beans are traditionally described as have draining damp qualities while pearl barley is a very good source of dietary fiber. Together they make a good sweep soup.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse and soak the pearl barley, adzuki beans for 1 hour.

Step 2
Rinse the rice. Soak the red dates until soft and remove the seed.

Step 3
In a pot, add the water and bring it to boil. Add the pearl barley, adzuki bean, rice and red dates.

Step 4
Reduce the heat to medium and cook it for 2 hours. Ready to serve.
