I recently fell in love with tea lattes. They are aromatic and every time I drink one, it calms me down. There are all these different flavours, such as Chai Tea Latte, Hojicha Latte, Matcha Latte, that make a regular latte seem boring.

Tea lattes are very versatile. You can mix and match different types of teas, dried flowers and flavoured syrups to make this warm soothing drink any way you want.

I tried making an English Breakfast Tea & Rose Latte the other day and made me so happy. In addition to being wonderfully fragrant, the rose is so beautiful.

The ingredients are super simple. You can buy dried rose and vanilla extract in any baking stores or baking sections of international supermarkets.

English Breakfast Tea & Rose Latte

Ingredients:

- 1 cup strongly –brewed English Breakfast tea

- ½ cup milk

- 4 – 5 dried rose buds

- ¼ tsp vanilla extract

- honey to taste

Directions:

1. Heat up milk with the rose buds and vanilla extract. Once hot, turn off heat and let sit for 3 minutes to let the rose infuse into the milk.

2. Boil water and brew the English Breakfast tea in a pot and steep for 3 – 4 minutes.

3. Pour tea and hot milk into a mug. Flavour with honey. Stir until combined. Decorate with a few rose petals. Serve warm.

This tea latte is super comforting and delicious.

Here are a few other flavour combinations you can try!
