Mushroom and Minced Pork with Silver Pin Noodle Soup

The shape of silver pin noodle is short and tapered on both ends. This noodle is chewy and smooth, which is typically cooked with mushroom and minced meat.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the dried shrimp and dried mushroom until soft. Rough chop the dried shrimp and slice the mushroom.

Step 2
Marinate the pork with Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, sesame oil and white pepper for 15 minutes.

Step 3
In a pot, bring the water to boil and slightly blanch the silver pin noodles for a minute. Drain and set aside.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the dried shrimp until fragrant, add the ground pork and cook until half way.

Step 5
Add the mushroom, chicken broth and water. Bring it to boil and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6
Add the silver pin noodles and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 7
Sprinkle with green onion and some white pepper. Ready to serve.
