Baked Scallop and Glass Noodle with Cheese

Scallops and glass noodles are perfect match. They are usually cooked by steam. Actually they taste excellent when baked with cheese. This western style definitely gives you surprises!

Step 1
Soak the glass noodle until soft, drain and set aside

Step 2
Mince the garlic and chop the parsley

Step 3
Cleans and remove the scallop of the shell. Season the scallop with salt and black pepper

Place the soaked glass noodle on the scallop shell

Step 5
In a pan, melt the butter with some oil. Sear the scallop until golden brown on both sides then place it over the glass noodle.

Step 6
Prepare the cheese sauce. Melt the butter on a medium heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, add the all-purpose flour and mix into a roux

Step 7
Add the milk and whisk until no lumps. Add the cheddar cheese and cook until completely melt. Season with salt and black pepper

Step 8
Add the cheese sauce over the scallop

Step 9
Place in the oven and bake until golden brown. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and ready to serve
