Taiwanese Sausage Egg Pancake

Egg Pancake is a must-eat breakfast in Taiwan. This simple yet delicious egg pancake with our homemade sauce is so tasty that you cannot resist!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
In a pot, combine water, sweet chili sauce, sugar, sweet soy sauce, ketchup, white miso and bring it to simmer

Step 2
Stir in the corn starch water and whisk until the sauce has thicken. Set aside

Step 3
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and add the green onion. Season with salt and white pepper

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Slightly cook the cheese sausage until crispy and set aside

Step 5
In a dry pan, heat the pancake on a medium heat until soft and set aside

Step 6
In the same pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Scoop the egg batter evenly on the pan and about half way cook, layer the pancake on top and flip it over.

Step 7
Spread the sauce over the egg and place the sausage in the middle.Fold the pancake into a wrap and ready to serve
