Step 1
Clean the chicken. Soak the red dates for 10 minutes, drain and set aside. Soak the dried lily for 30 minutes, drain and set aside.

Step 2
Peel and slice the ginger. Cut the leeks into section. Clean and remove the core and cut the apple into pieces.

Step 3
In a pot, add the chicken, leeks, ginger and enough water. Bring it to boil then reduce the heat to low, cover the lid and cook for an hour.

Step 4
Add the dried lily, red dates and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 5
Add the apple and cook for another 15 minutes.

Step 6
Season with salt and ready to serve.
