Cranberry Apple Crumble

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel the apple and cut into small dice

Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine the apple, dried cranberry, brown sugar and cinnamon

Toss well and set aside

Step 4
In a mixer, using the paddle. Combine the flour and baking powder then slowly add the cold butter and mix together

Step 5
Add the water and salt and mix until the dough become smooth

Step 6
Form the dough into a ball size, dust the surface with flour. Gently knead the dough for couple times

Use the rolling pin and roll into 3mm thick

Step 8
Cut the dough which big enough to cover the pie shell

Use finger slightly put the dough to the bottom of the pan, then use the knife to trim the edge of the dough

Step 10
Spoon the apple mixture in the pie shell

Step 11
Prepare the crumble. Cut the butter into small cubes

Step 12
Mix the flour and sugar add the butter and mix it into crumble

Step 13
Sprinkle over the apple mixture

Step 14
Preheat the oven to 180ºC and bake it for 30-45 minutes until apples are soft and the top is golden brown
