Step 1
Slice the ginger and cut the green onion into section

Step 2
Cut the spareribs in medium size and marinade for 20 minutes

Step 3
In the pot, bring the water to boil. Add the ginger and green onion and blanch the spareribs for 5 minutes

Step 4
Drain and set aside

Step 5
In a pot, add 800mL water to boil then add spareribs, ginseng and garlic and cook for an hour on medium heat

Step 6
Season with salt, pepper and serve
