Spicy Tomato Mackerel Fillet

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Defrost the mackerel fillet and cut it into 4 equal pieces.

Step 2
Cut tomato and onion into small cubes. Dice the garlic.

Step 3
Heat the pan with oil over medium heat, sear the mackerel with skin facing down until golden brown. Flip the fish when the edge starting to turn white. When cooked, transfer to plate and set aside.

Step 4
With the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion over medium heat. Add diced tomato and stir well.

Step 5
Add ketchup, Korean chilli paste, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and water into pan. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 6
Return the mackerel to pan, spread on some sauce and cook for another minute. Ready to serve.
