Water250 ml
Shaoxing wine10 tbsp
Green onion sections2 tbsp
Ginger, grated5 tsp
Chinese cabbage1 pc
Dried mushrooms5 g
Star anise3 pc
Sichuan pepper1 g
Carrot1 pc
Salt2 g
Ground white pepper2 tsp
Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces. Marinate for 10 minutes

Step 2
Wash and cut the cabbage and mushrooms

Step 3
In the pot, heat up some oil on medium high heat. Add ginger and green onions to sauté until aromatic. Then add chicken pieces to brown, about 2 minutes

Step 4
Add star anise, pepper corns, chicken broth, water, and Chines cooking wine. Bring to a boil
