Korean Stir-fried Spicy Chicken
Recipe Details
This stir-fried chicken is spicy with sweetness. Cook together with crispy cabbage and carrot to give a more beautiful colour to the dish. The Korean rice cakes are well coated with the sauce!

Step 1
Cut the chicken thigh meat and cabbage into pieces. Julienne the onion. Slice the carrot. Dice the green onion and mince the garlic.

Step 2
Soak the rice cakes in hot water for 2 minutes until soft and separate the rice cakes.

Step 3
Marinate the chicken thigh meat with Korean chili paste, Korean chili powder, garlic, sugar, ground white pepper, light soy sauce, rice wine and Korean sesame oil for 1 hour.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add chicken thigh meat and stir-fry until fragrant.

Step 5
Add onion, carrot, cabbage, Korean rice cakes and stir-fry until the chicken is done.

Step 6
Transfer to a plate. Sprinkle with green onion and ready to serve.
