Bacon and Egg Rice Roll

A good dinner is not necessary to be expensive or complicated. This rice ball simply made by bacon and egg is a good example.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut the Chinese donut into sections and chop the green onion.

Step 2
Whisk together the eggs, green onion and salt.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add egg wash and sear until done. Divide into 3 parts with wok spatula and set aside.

Step 4
In the same pan, add bacon and sauté until fragrant. Set aside.

Step 5
Place Japanese rice on plastic wrap. Add egg, bacon, hot pickled mustard and Chinese donut on top. Roll from the bottom to form a roll.

Step 6
Halve the roll and remove the plastic wrap. Ready to serve.
