Taiwanese Honey Toast
Recipe Details
Toast bread with sweet honey makes you feel pleasant. Serve with dragon fruit and kiwi, just colorful and fun like summer. This dessert definitely can melt every girl’s heart. And this is not only a dessert after meal, but also some memories of your first love, fresh and sweet.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut out the core and leave the bread crust. Have a cut from the bottom as well to make sure you could take the core out easily.

Step 2
Slice the crustless bread, and put some honey on, shredded some sugar on and bake with the crust separately until they are being crispy and golden color. Set aside.

Step 3
Soak the gelatin into ice water.

Step 4
Add 200g milk, 40g sugar and opened vanilla pod into a pot, boil it.

Step 5
Blend 20g sugar with custard powder, corn starch, egg and milk.

Step 6
When step 1 is boiling, turn to low heat. Add step 2 in and keep stirring until it’s thickened. Add the soft gelatin and stir well. Wait until it cools down and wrap by plastic, put into fridge overn

Step 7
Blend the evaporated milk till soft peak, set aside. Use the same mixer to beat the overnight mixture until it’s soft. Add the evaporated milk and mix well.

Step 8
Remove the skin and slice dragon fruit and kiwi, clean blueberries.

Step 9
Put the toasted crustless bread slices into the crust box.

Step 10
Squeeze custard on and decorate with fruits. Ready to serve.
