Braised Pork Knuckle with Pickled Radish and Peanut

Step 1
Rinse the pickled radish, soak it for 20 minutes and cut into dice

Step 2
Soak the dried longan until soft

Step 3
Soak the soy bean for 3-4 hours

Step 4
Slice the ginger and cut the green onion into section

Step 5
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the pork knuckle for 4-5 minutes, drain and set aside

Step 6
In a shallow pan, add oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Sear the pork knuckle until golden brown

Add the pickled radish and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce and sugar

Add water to cover the pork and bring it to boil, reduce the heat to low heat

Step 9
Add the dried longan, dried orange skin, peanuts and soy bean

Step 10
Cook for 2 hours until the pork knuckle is tender and the sauce is thick
