Hong Kong people have a new love in recent years – Pork Jowl. Pork Jowl is juicy and tender. In Asian cooking, pork jowl is often marinated with herbs and soy sauce, then slow roasted.

Step 1
Cut cilantro

Cut red bird chilies

Make marinade

Step 4
First wash and dry the pork jowl, and marinate the pork jowl with the marinate ingredients over night (or at least 2 hours).

Marinate pork

Step 6
In a frying pan, heat up some oil and grill the marinated pork jowl on medium high heat until both sides are golden. Then reduce the heat and cook the pork jowl until fully cooked.

When finished, brush with some honey.

Let it cool and the delicious pork jowl is done! Thinly slice them to serve with rice or salads!
