Korean Chilled Pacific Clam

Mix the pacific clams with homemade Korean chili paste, fresh cucumbers and onions! You can finish preparing this simple appetizer within 10 minutes!

Step 1
Julienne the onion. Cut the cucumber into wedges. Mince the garlic.

Step 2
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add Chinese cooking wine and pacific clams. Blanch the clams for 2 minutes. Drain, let cool and set aside.

Step 3
Mix together Korean chili sauce, Korean chili powder, white vinegar, sugar, light soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic.

Step 4
Add pacific clams, onions, cucumbers and mix well.

Step 5
Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with white sesame. Ready to serve.
